ITEACH is a Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation 3-year funded initiative establishing a public-private partnership between Weill Cornell Medical School and Hunter College Schools of Nursing, Public Health and Social Work to expose a broad range of health and health care professional students to the concepts of interprofessional collaboration to prepare health professionals to work in collaborative teams across disciplines and professional boundaries for better patient outcomes in and to be ready for the changing health care delivery system. Created e-learning online course.

The Center’s creation was the result of the foundational success of a funded 3-year project, The Program for Humanistic Health Care that I led as Associate Director. Involved in all conceptual visioning, strategic planning, designing a healing health care model, fundraising, and designing the environmentally green space. Operationally responsible for community education and outreach, media, marketing and clinical program development of integrative healthcare at Beth Israel Medical Center.

As a member of this collective, I did everything from soliciting manuscripts to editing, design and layout and making sure the Journal was mailed.
