Service Description

Participants can access the workshop faculty for follow-up consultation, including coaching for media interviews and review of Op-Ed drafts, for one year post-workshop for an additional fee of $500. Lead Faculty

Mason and Glickstein are the Co-Principal Investigators for the Woodhull Study Revisited Project that examined nurses’ representation in health news media in 2017, and a follow-up qualitative study of health journalists’ experiences with using nurses as sources. Both have longstanding experience in nursing and as radio producers and hosts, conduct media training of nurses and other health professionals, and are members of the Association of Health Care Journalists. They are faculty on strategic communications for the Betty Irene Moore Fellowship for Nurse Leaders and Innovators.
